Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
Anyone been or a member? Start a new job in the Wharf in a couple of weeks and thinking of joining. It's pricey, but does look the bollocks.

Seems spot on

I have been recommended this club by one of my work college who is (English)she told me there is promotional offer goin on so my friend. referred me to join the club so my friend spoke to membership consultant called Maressa costa agreed to offer joining month free and no joining fees she also agreed on the phone. Then once I visit the club to collect the membership card and stuff she has completely act weird as I'm Asian she was acting very strange and told me to pay joining fee and month payment in advance she was completely encourage me to leave the club without joining I was disappointed and upset. I told this to my friend she also cancelled her membership it showed us clearly is race an issue at this club and I joined in Virgin active classic club. However Im sure the management should know about this person or aware.

It is a superb gym. Where you working? Do you not get a concession / have a gym in your building?

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
Mate Reebok is the bollocks great gym. I disagree with the racist post as I have never scene anything like that.

Free Towels and the changing rooms are great as well.

If you use it and I mean use the classes like reebok reps or the Iron System (look it up) 4 times a week then it's worth it.

Which channel? I can't remember to be honest mate.

I don't know if I am an idiot for it, read all the horror stories about losing form under fatigue and then injuries but I need someone driving me otherwise I dont do enough really!

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
Try the Iron System as some of the classes can be high on impact.

There is a class called deepwork which is a mix of Yoga and cardio.

Great workout low impact.

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
I'm not a member anymore as I have a gym in my building but I could cancel my membership here, not bother with the crossfit and join the reebok and save about 80 quid a month!

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
You know the weather spoons near bar 38, near Morgan Stanley? There is an industrial park over there. It's in one of the warehouses.

Just reading up on that iron training. Seems quite good and also notice they do triathlon swimming coaching. I think I maybe convincing myself to sack off the crossfit and rejoin the reebok. I can then swim every morning and either run, class or weights in the evening.

The swimming is key as I don't get round to going at home.

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
I hate all these modern Metrosexual gyms with men running on treadmills for fucking ages. The have them here , Pilates , Yoga some other Fitness" shit , all for about 80 quid a month.

Give me a Spit and sawdust gym with plenty of iron , no machines or treadmills or bikes or Toss trainers but a punch bag and pull up bar , Training in bare feet and not multi colored stupid fucking trainers with 3 inches under the heel to fuck your posture up

I'll be working at State Street on Churchill Place, so it's perfectly located. I've asked if they do corporate rates.
